II. Digital Products & Music

Zakaria Hajjaj's original musical releases, sound collections, and digital audio works are distributed across premier digital platforms as well as through direct download channels:

Bandcamp Purchases

All digital albums, EPs, standalone tracks, and digital merchandise purchased via our official Bandcamp store (zakariahajjaj1.bandcamp.com) are processed and fulfilled directly through Bandcamp's payment and delivery systems.

• Bandcamp Terms: Bandcamp's platform policies and transaction terms govern all payments, currency conversions, and platform-level disputes.
• Corrupted or Defective Files: If a digital file purchased on Bandcamp fails to download, is corrupted, or contains an audible technical artifact resulting from a server issue, please notify us immediately. We will gladly furnish verified direct replacement links or assist you in obtaining platform resolution.
• Accidental Duplicate Purchases: If you accidentally purchase the same digital release multiple times on Bandcamp, contact us with both transaction receipts for verification, and we will initiate a resolution for the duplicate charge.

Due to the non-tangible and irrevocable nature of digital audio files, sample libraries, stems, and digital musical assets downloaded directly from this website, all direct digital sales are generally final and non-refundable once download links or credentials have been delivered. If you encounter an unplayable file, contact our studio within 14 days of purchase for immediate technical resolution or file replacement.

III. Professional Audio Services

Professional services offered by Zakaria Hajjaj include original sound design, acoustic score conceptualization, music production, audio mixing, mastering, and live theatrical audio direction.

Service Contracts & Milestone Structure

Each service engagement is governed by a clear scope of work, project brief, milestone schedule, and agreed deliverables. Because creative audio engineering and production require dedicated studio time and specialized artistic labor:

• Studio Retainers / Advance Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 30% to 50% of the project total) is required prior to project scheduling to reserve studio time, initiate acoustic research, and commence conceptual scoring. Once creative work has started, this deposit is non-refundable.
• Milestone Payments: Payments tied to completed project milestones (such as thematic sketches, preliminary mixes, or rough cue arrangements) are non-refundable once the client has reviewed and approved the milestone.
• Revision Cycles: Standard production agreements include designated rounds of creative revisions (typically 2 to 3 iterations) to ensure artistic synergy. Feedback provided during these rounds is incorporated into subsequent drafts. Requests exceeding the contracted revision scope are billed at the agreed supplementary hourly or per-cue rate.

IV. Commissioned Work & Theatrical Dramaturgy

Commissioned compositions, bespoke scores for theatrical works (such as Khyal Jha, Becket, and The Name of God), contemporary dance soundscapes, and cinematic documentary scores represent custom, one-of-a-kind artistic creations.

• Subjective Nature of Artistic Works: Creative composition and musical dramaturgy are intrinsically subjective artistic disciplines. While Zakaria Hajjaj guarantees the highest level of craftsmanship, cultural authenticity, and acoustic quality, dissatisfaction arising solely from personal artistic preference after milestones have been approved does not qualify for a refund. Aesthetic adjustments are addressed collaboratively through agreed revision phases.
• Final Acceptance & Delivery: Once final master audio files, stems, cue sheets, or stage sound integration packages have been delivered and accepted by the client, theatrical company, or producer, no refunds will be granted under any circumstance.
• Intellectual Property: In the event of an agreed cancellation or dispute, all rights in and to unaccepted musical compositions, sketches, and motifs remain the exclusive intellectual property of Zakaria Hajjaj.

V. Cancellation Policy

We recognize that theatrical schedules, filming timelines, and creative projects can encounter unexpected shifts. Our cancellation terms are structured as follows:

Client-Initiated Cancellation

• Prior to Project Commencement: If written cancellation notice is received before any creative work, studio booking, or sound design research has begun, the initial deposit will be refunded minus a 15% administrative and calendar reservation fee.
• Mid-Project Cancellation: If a project is cancelled after creative work has commenced, the artist will retain the advance deposit and bill pro-rata for all completed cues, recording hours, and production milestones delivered up to the cancellation date. Any unearned prepaid funds exceeding completed work will be returned within 14 business days.
• Dormant / Abandoned Projects: If a client becomes unresponsive for more than 45 consecutive days without prior written notice, the project will be deemed abandoned. In such cases, all deposits and milestone payments are forfeited, and studio obligations terminate.

Artist-Initiated Cancellation

In the extraordinary and unlikely event that Zakaria Hajjaj is unable to fulfill a contracted service due to documented incapacitation, severe illness, or unforeseen force majeure events, the client will receive an immediate full refund of any unearned fees and uncompleted milestone payments, alongside all draft materials and stems produced up to that moment.

VI. How to Request a Refund

To request an eligible refund, replacement file, or review of a service dispute, please follow this straightforward procedure:

• 2. Required Information: Include your full legal name, project/contract title, date of transaction, proof of payment or invoice number, and an itemized explanation of the issue or basis for your request.

• 4. Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment (bank wire transfer, PayPal, or platform processor) within 7 to 14 business days following written approval.
